2nd International Conference on Sustainable Mobility

IRF Geneva and Autoroutes du Maroc (Moroccan Highways) join hands for the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Mobility to be hosted in Marrakech on the 16th May 2017.

This event is a follow-up to the 1st International Conference on Sustainable Mobility organised by Autoroutes du Maroc in 2016 in the framework of the COP22 hosted in Morocco.

The conference will look into the conclusions of COP22 - as far as the transport sector is concerned - and will focus on ways to address the overall challenges that the African continent faces in delivering sustainable transport and mobility.

The conference is organised around four main sessions:

• session 1 – Africa's Challenges in Sustainable Transport and Mobility
• session 2 – Delivering Climate Resilient Infrastructure
• session 3 – Delivering Safe Roads and Mobility
• session 4 - Delivering Access and Sustainable Mobility to All: The MaaS Revolution
