New vans see Kidds take safety message to the streets

SAFETY-focused Kidds Distribution Services is taking the road safety message to the streets...

Two vans

RoSPA has urged the Government to impose a blanket ban on making phone calls while driving

The Glasgow-based pharmaceutical distribution specialist has adorned two vans with hard-hitting road safety messages. The aim is to reinforce the message that it’s the responsibility of all drivers and all companies with vehicles on the roads to reduce the number of deaths and injuries that occur annually in the UK.

The company has also launched on online petition – ‘Stop the Deaths on UK Roads’ – which can be accessed at http://kiddsdistribution.co.uk/peition.html. The company intends to use the petition to raise this issue with the British and Scottish Parliaments.

Stephen Kidd, managing director of Kidds Distribution Services, said: “The launch of our road safety vehicles is a first of its kind UK. As a company that travels over one million miles per year, we couldn’t think of a better way of re-enforcing the message of ‘safe driving’, than having thousands of people see this on our vehicles all over the UK. Both my staff and I are passionate about road safety and will continually strive to promote this wherever we go.”
