Free evaluation for road safety professionals

8 December 2010

RoSPA and the Department for Transport have opened a free website to help road safety practitioners evaluate their education, training and publicity (ETP) activities.

At the heart of the Road Safety Evaluation website is E-valu-it. The interactive tool helps practitioners plan, carry out and report the results of ETP evaluations.

A major strength of the system is that it transfers all the generated results into an evaluation report template. Users can then add to it throughout their evaluation to produce a professional report at the end of the process.

E-valu-it also helps the wider road safety community, by encouraging users to share best practice and publish their reports.

It can be used for interventions that are planned, in progress or have already taken place.
