New International Award Scheme Launched

21 December 2011

From 2012 a new group of international awards will be presented by Prince Michael of Kent.

Announcing his new awards at a recent London ceremony Prince Michael said: " The next ten years will be crucial for Global road safety so from next year these awards will recognise achievements in direct support of the objectives of the Global Plan and of the Commission for Global Road Safety."

The awards which are to be sponsored by The FIA Foundation will be presented  at an annual major conference to be held in a different country, each year, attracting those who are doing so much to make the global plan work. The first awards will be presented in New York in May 2012.

Nominations should be submitted as explained here and should reach us by 1 March 2012.
