Award winning pre-driving programme endorsed

20 December 2012

The Drive IQ pre-driving software now being used by over 30,000 young people in over 300 schools across the country  has won the support of Road Safety GB.

The FREE resources for schools/colleges enables them to introduce learning to drive (and the responsibilities and risks involved) to their Year 11-13 students. Using evidence-based research into how attitude and behaviour affects driving, this easy to use software broadens experience, increases awareness and improves hazard perception.

This innovative solution which won a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award last year concentrates on how attitude and behaviour can improve driving and significantly reduce the odds of being involved in a car crash. It is state-of-the-art, evidence-based, award winning, easy to implement and totally free. Every school/college so far introduced to the programme has taken up the programme and more than 90% aim to incorporate into curriculum time.
