Insure Safer Driving
Monday 24th June 2013, Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall - Roadsafe member ingenie hosted over 100 guests including journalists, TV, road safety experts and our insurance partners to debate the future of road safety for young drivers ahead of the government publishing their much anticipated green paper.
The event highlighted the need for:
- The rapid introduction of tools such as Drive iQ to help improve young people’s risk assessment and hazard perception
- A minimum number of hours and a structured syllabus before learner drivers are permitted to take their test.
- Post test monitoring systems such as ingenie to help young drivers continue to improve both their driving skills and attitude
