Road Safety Research in Europe

2 February 2014

Priorities for Road Safety Research in Europe (PROS) is a 2 year support action that aims to identify research priorities for European road safety research over the next decade.

Based on the state of the art of existing research and identifying ‘white spots’ and gaps, it is expected to contribute to the objective of substantially reducing fatalities on Europe’s roads by ensuring that research funds are targeted towards the most cost-efficient actions. Find out more here.

PROS has launched on-line consultation to gather stakeholders feedback on road safety research priorities. Please join the LinkedIn Group and share your ideas!  This network will follow an integrated approach covering human, vehicle and infrastructure aspects and all phases from preventive to post-crash safety.
