Brake launches global site

25 July 2014

Road safety charity Brake, in partnership with insurers RSA, has launched a global website for anyone interested in organising a Road Safety Week, or similar event, in their country, organisation, or locality.

The site draws on Brake's long-running experience of coordinating Road Safety Week in the UK and New Zealand, and aims to help others set up Road Safety Weeks elsewhere. It provides resources, examples and guidance to help NGOs, governments, companies and educators around the world run successful road safety events.

The third Global Road Safety Week will be held 4th – 10th May 2015 and the theme will be children and road safety.

The Week will draw attention to the urgent need to better protect children and generate action on the measures needed to do so.
