The Global Road Safety Partnership calls for Concept Notes

Started in early 2012 with funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies, the primary objective of the Road Safety Grants Programme is to support civil society organizations in selected low and middle-income countries to advocate for policy change to protect road users. It also supports civil society organizations to promote the successful implementation of evidence-based policies.

Since its inception, the programme has awarded 38 grants to 27 civil society organizations in 8 countries. In 2015, with continued funding under the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety, the programme is expanding to include new cities and countries.

GRSP has a new on-line grants management system which will allow applicants to submit and track applications on-line, and facilitate multiple applications along with many other exciting features. The deadline for submission of completed concept notes is Monday 3rd August 2015 at 08:00 hours, Central European Time. Notice of the outcome of the selection process will be sent to applicants by Friday 18th September 2015. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit full applications for funding.
