MIB supports the latest Government drink drive campaign

13 August 2007

According to records held by the Motor Insurers’ Bureau the typical profile of an uninsured driver varies but prosecutions for uninsured driving would confirm 17 to 21 year olds are over represented.

The Motor Insurers’ Bureau compensates the victims of road accidents caused by uninsured and untraced motorists.

In 2006 at least 78,000 vehicles were seized by the Police for no insurance.
