The European Red Cross Road Safety Project 2007- 2008

GRSP reports - With more than 100 deaths a day due to road crashes in European Union (EU) countries, EU Red Cross Societies are making road safety a priority. Beginning in 2001, they have implemented three regional road safety campaigns, with a special focus on children and young people. The campaigns, coordinated by the Federation’s Red Cross EU office in Brussels, have benefited from the consistent support of the the European Commission and Toyota Motor Europe. The 2007- 2008 project will also be supported by by Tom Tom company. GRSP is providing technical support and guidance in to the project.
