Free road-risks management innovation to curb fleet crashes and cut costs

30 September 2008

Fleet driver training and road risks management company Bespoke Driver Training has launched a new service to vehicle fleet and health and safety decision-makers.

‘Mastering Fleet Risk Management’ is a free, online video-based series providing tips and techniques for managing occupational road risks and enhancing driver safety.

With research by the Transport Research Laboratory finding that fleet vehicle drivers have a 30-40% higher crash rate, Bespoke says its new service is an ‘invaluable resource’ for fleet managers and company directors concerned about their duty of care obligations.

Bespoke’s free online service is available on subscription to fleet and health and safety decision-makers through its website http://www.bespokedrivertraining.co.uk/fleet_index.htm.

The first videos in the series look at fundamental principles in managing occupational road risks, and demonstrate how to safely carry out high speed emergency lane changes. Further videos will be added to the website shortly, all of which will be geared around helping organisations keep their staff safe on the roads.
