Driving for Work Conference

22 October 2008

Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, was the venue for Buckinghamshire County Council’s second Driving for Work Conference on 22 October. Local businesses were invited to attend the event which proved to be very well supported. Those attending heard presentations from RoSPA, TRL, and Thames Valley Police representatives amongst others, whilst Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, the Highways Agency and other local service providers offered specialist advice. Guests also had an opportunity to discuss policy writing in an afternoon workshop and witnessed the presentation of an award to the global engineeringgroup, Jacobs (who have a base in Aylesbury), for their commitment to work related road safety.
