New Fleet Safety Resource Centre

Today In partnership with gTKP, RoadSafe launched a new easy to use knowledge centre for fleet and business safety managers. The new FleetSafe centre - designed to be an easy to use portal for rapid access to good practice was launched at the International Conference on Road Safety at Work.

The centre is based on a new ‘how to’ manual being developed by Ken Shaw, former Head of Road Safety in BP for GRSP in cooperation with many of the world’s leading fleet operators as part of a programme of international collaboration.

Central to the approach recommended is a safe management for managing and continually improving an organisation's policies, procedures and processes. A systematic approach will help an organisation to achieve its goals through clear management focus and disciplined management thinking. By using a proven management system the organisation will be able to continually renew its fleet safety strategy, transport operations, policies and procedures.
