New preschool kids character Beepo drives to Brighton...

1 October 2006

and promotes road safety on the way!

The 500 veteran cars taking part in this year's London to Brighton Veteran Car Run will be joined by a new entrant. Beepo and his friends are cartoon characters based

on vehicles actually in the event. In addition to his duties as mascot of the run Beepo has teamed up with RoadSafe, promoters of the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards.

In addition, a proportion of revenues generated by Beepo will be utilised to improve road safety education in the developing world where child casualties from road crashes are a major epidemic.
