The Road Safety Trust has published its new organisational strategy for 2025–2028, supporting road safety management and setting out its plan to deliver on its ongoing vision of zero deaths and zero serious injuries on UK roads.
As the UK’s largest independent grant funder of road safety initiatives, the Trust will continue to fund high-impact projects, invest in research and strengthen the evidence base for what works to reduce harm.
However, the strategy also confirms a growing focus on collaboration, influencing and knowledge sharing, with an ambition to support a safer, fairer, and more resilient road system.
The new strategy sets four clear priorities for the next three years:
Govern well and build an agile, sustainable organisation
Fund high-impact projects
Strengthen the evidence base
Influence policy, practice and legislation
