Road Safety GB and Project EDWARD have announced plans to collaborate on a special joint webinar that will be convened immediately following publication of the Government’s long-awaited road safety strategy.
While the details are yet to emerge, expectations suggest the strategy may include renewed commitments to Vision Zero principles, enhanced investment in active travel infrastructure, expanded use of intelligent speed assistance technology and stronger collaboration between national and local authorities to tackle high-risk routes and behaviours.
The session, to be held within 48 hours of publication, will provide an immediate opportunity for road safety professionals nationwide to understand the new policy’s key proposals and potential implications.
