Road safety strategy symposium

Webinar

March 19th, 2026
On Thursday 19 March, 09:00–15:30, Agilysis and Project EDWARD are offering a FREE to join one-day web symposium examining how the new national Road Safety Strategy can be converted into funded, local delivery.

Join for as much or as little of the day as you wish, dropping into the sessions that are most relevant to your role.

Through themed sessions on targets and data, governance, funding, enforcement and high‑risk groups, contributors will explore what needs to change in policy, partnerships and practice over the next three years.

They have scheduled a strategic opening, a lunchtime Q&A and a closing panel to discuss “next steps”, with presenters and contributors to help shape a practical roadmap for local teams to lift straight into their own plans.

Who should attend?

  • Senior leaders and elected members with responsibility for transport, community safety and public health
  • Road safety, highways, and casualty reduction practitioners in local authorities, police, fire and rescue, health and NHS trauma networks.
  • Enforcement, camera partnership and data specialists, including those working on governance, budgets and performance management
  • Organisations focused on high‑risk groups, including motorcyclists, people driving for work, and young and older road users
  • Charities, campaigners, academics and industry partners who want to support Safe System delivery
