New partnership to improve safety for new drivers

Protect Young Drivers, hosted by PACTS, has announced a new partnership with Confused.com to improve understanding of the risks facing newly qualified drivers and support measures to better protect them on the road. 

The partnership brings together expertise from across the road safety and insurance sectors to deliver data-led education, support informed policy discussion, and highlight practical ways to reduce risk among young drivers. 

Protect Young Drivers is a central hub for evidence, insight and action to reduce serious road harm among young drivers. Supported by police, fire and rescue services, local authorities, academics and bereaved families, it brings together research and real-life experience to inform better policy and practice.
