RoadSafe partner TyreSafe, the UK’s leading tyre safety organisation, has announced that Sussex Police is its latest supporter in its campaign to raise awareness about tyre safety and maintenance issues.
Although Sussex Police have already been involved in last year’s Tyre Safety Month, this year will see a big increase in involvement, actively promoting a number of campaigns aimed at educating road users about the importance of tyre safety.
Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said, “It’s great to have the backing of Sussex Police whose commitment to making the roads safer is second-to-none. The force enjoyed considerable success when it partnered Chandlers BMW at several events during last year’s Tyre Safety Month, so it knows the benefits of getting involved and the positive outcome it can achieve.”
