PACTS conference. Micromobility – Safety and Sustainability

28 March 2023

10.00-13.00 online

The government has published their national evaluation of e-scooter rental trials in England finding that rental e-scooters can serve as a valuable mode of transport. These “micromobility” vehicles, along with e-bikes and small cargo vehicles, have been increasing in number on UK streets. Rapidly developing technology will bring more. How small, or big, might they get, what functions will they fulfil, and how should they be regulated?

The PACTS spring conference 2023 will be a chance to learn and explore these issues. Speakers from government, industry and user groups will set out the landscape and particularly address safety and sustainability, both which remain key priorities for the Government.

Save the date in your diaries. Further details, including how to book, will be issued soon.
This follows on the back of the PACTS Prince Michael award-winning project into the safety of private e-scooters.
