Road Safety Knowledge Centre breaks the record

The online directory of road safety information and resources, the Road Safety Knowledge Centre, has had the highest number of visits to its website in the month of July.

Last month, the Knowledge Centre received 2,646 visits, breaking the previous record of 2,427, achieved in January 2011 when the website was in its infancy. In July, the Knowledge Centre attracted 1,216 unique visitors, a significant increase of more than 30% on the previous high of 927, achieved in January 2012.

Nick Rawlings, Knowledge Centre project manager, said, “It is very pleasing to see that the number of people using Knowledge Centre continues to increase. This is a clear indication that road safety professionals are finding it a very useful resource in their important work''.
