Schools driver education programme

1 July 2006

The School's Programme for the Effective Education of Drivers (SPEED) website has been launched at:  http://www.drivereducation.co.uk/

The website is an information site primarily designed for Schools & Colleges but will be of considerable interest to Road Safety Officers nationally. It's purpose is to keep all those involved in Road Safety informed about the necessity for, and intention of, the SPEED programme and its progress towards a national launch date.

Following a very positive meeting with the Driving Standards Agency, the SPEED initiative is now pushing ahead with an extensive product development programme which will ensure the highest quality resources for the initiative and make it THE leading and most advanced pre-driver education course available in the UK.
