Euro NCAP results show improved safety performance

14 December 2010

Euro NCAP organizes crash-tests and gives motoring consumers realistic and independent assessments of the safety performance of some of the most popular cars sold in Europe.

The organisation now reveals the results of a selected number of cars on a quarterly basis. The latest EuroNCAP results can be seen online.

Since 2009, Euro NCAP has tested the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) performance of cars. ESC is an active safety technology that improves a vehicle's dynamic stability and helps avoid accidents.
