Call for a Decade of Action

RoadSafe stands behind the latest ‘Make Roads Safe’ report, issued by the Commission for Global Road Safety in Rome on 5 May.

Endorsed by the world's leading road safety experts, it urges UN governments attending the first ever global governmental conference on road safety to be held in Moscow in November, to support a ‘Decade of Action for Road Safety’ between 2010-2020.

RoadSafe provides the road safety theme champion for the the the Global Transport Knowledge Partnership - an innovative association of global organisations, local policy-makers, experts, which will work to combat the world’s fastest growing public health emergency by committing to a road safety ‘Decade of Action’ to save 5 million lives and prevent 50 million serious injuries.
