RoadSafe is a founder of The global Transport Knowledge Partnership is an innovative partnership of global organisations, local policy-makers, experts and interested users working to make effective use of international transport knowledge.

The gTKP knowledge centre currently offers free access to sector experts and best practice knowledge in seven themes in road transport.

A further valuable resource is The Transport Advice Portal (TAP) - a paper-free technical library devised to help you find the up-to-date documents you need when planning, designing and operating road networks. The portal acts as a one-stop-shop depository of web links to core documents produced by a range of organisations. It will help you find specific documents you already know about but will also direct you to helpful information you may not previously been aware of.

It is a joint venture involving the Department for Transport (DfT) and the Institution of Highways and Transportation (IHT).

It provided valuable access to general ‘Road Safety engineering information and much good advice on reducing risks to Vulnerable Road Users.
