Britain’s safest fleets set to sign up to European Road Safety Charter

In London on Wednesday, 8 July, RoadSafe welcomes the Bethell Group, Arval, Centrica, Wolseley and 3M as signatories of the European Road Safety Charter.

These companies have underlined their commitment to good management of their employees when behind the wheel on business by becoming ‘business champions’ as part of the RoadSafe managed Drriving for Better Business campaign.

RoadSafe is a long-time promoter of the Charter, which has more than 1400 signatories including fifteen RoadSafe members. All the signatories have committed to carry out concrete actions and share their good practices in order to resolve the road safety problems that they encounter in their day-to-day environments.

The overall objective of the Charter is to cut in half the number of road fatalities across Europe from 50,000 annually to 25,000.
