The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2017

31 October 2017

The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2017 will be held on 19th November 2017.

This year's theme is “2020 Target: Reduce Road Fatalities and Serious Injuries by 50%.”

In support of WDoR, the Alliance has set a goal of reaching 500,000 people with this year's message and we need your help.

To reach the goal, we have produced a free toolkit containing social media posts, an advocacy guide, template letters and press releases, a signboard to download, and links to lots of resources. To complement the toolkit, we have produced a short webinar with advocacy and social media tips.

You can help us achieve this goal and raise awareness of WDoR by:

  • Registering for the toolkit and webinar
  • Posting on social media with the hashtag #WDoR2017, tagging @roadsafetyngos, and inviting your followers to comment, share, and download the signboard
  • Downloading the signboard, taking a photo and uploading it to social media

To sign up for the toolkit and webinar by Monday 6th November 2017 please click here.
