Business Resilience Report

14 October 2020

Story from Driving for Better Business.

Every operating business is examining how it transitions through the next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic and the effects it has had on its business. There are businesses and organisations that have experienced major challenges throughout 2020; and there are those that have thrived.

Companies with employees who drive for work have had mixed fortunes. For example, commercial vehicle hire firms saw a spike in business as consumers switched to online retail, and delivery companies found they did not have enough vehicles to cope with demand. Whereas companies that supply goods and produce to the high street, found their business drying up under the same circumstances.

With the introduction of the three-tier system and the potential for further measures to follow, we examined business leader’s concerns over the last 6 months and how they are planning to shape a post-COVID-19 blue-print to drive business resilience.
