Driver licensing for people with medical conditions
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has launched an open call for evidence to support a proposed review of the existing legal framework for applicants for a driving licence who have one or more medical conditions. They are eager to look at innovative ideas and gather a wide range of evidence from experts across the industry.
This call for evidence will apply in England, Scotland and Wales only. Driver licensing is a devolved matter in Northern Ireland.
The call for evidence on driver licensing for people with medical conditions runs until Sunday 22 October 2023.
