How safe is your school transport?

22 May 2025 Webinar

Every day, millions of children travel to and from school - but how safe are their journeys? In 2024 alone, 64 children under 16 were killed and more than 12,000 injured on UK roads, with many incidents occurring near schools - places that should be the safest for our young people.

The latest Project EDWARD webinar, " How Safe is Your School Transport? " brings together experts and stakeholders to examine a wide spectrum of school transport safety: from the legal and practical issues around minibuses, to school policies on students driving themselves, and the vital role of local authorities.
