British EuroRAP Results 2022: Investing in Safer Mobility – Targeting Investment Across the British Road Network

T his year’s report tracks the safety performance of motorways and ‘A’ roads in Great Britain .The report shows how risk varies across the road network, identifies roads that have improved significantly over time, and provides commentary on approaches for prioritisation for investment.

Safer mobility investment packages are proposed that will have a substantive impact on the number of deaths and serious injuries on Britain’s motorways and ‘A’ roads. The investments proposed support other policy objectives for example, equitable safety across Great Britain including levelling up and increased active travel.
