They will include an overview of the different pieces of legislation that encompass an employer’s ‘Duty of Care’ responsibilities for employees driving on company business and  guidance on implementing a comprehensive risk assessment including:

• Maintaining and monitoring safe vehicle standards
• Monitoring policy compliance
• The benefits of driver training and a safe driver culture
• Using technology to reduce the burden of administrating the fleet

This training is aimed at anybody who has direct or indirect fleet responsibility, be it a Managing Director, a Fleet Manager, HR Director or Office Manager. This legislation applies to every fleet inthe UK from small employee owned fleets through to  company owned fleets.
