Managing the Hidden Risk
To help Organisations, Directors and Fleet Managers understand the full impact of the ‘Duty of Care’ legislation and how it effects your business Fleet 21 is running another series of its highly acclaimed ‘Duty of Care’ half day seminars.
They will include an overview of the different pieces of legislation that encompass an employer’s ‘Duty of Care’ responsibilities for employees driving on company business and guidance on implementing a comprehensive risk assessment including:
- ‘Seven steps to risk management’
- Maintaining and monitoring safe vehicle standards
- Monitoring policy compliance
- The benefits of driver training and a safe driver culture
- Using technology to reduce the burden of administrating the fleet
This training is aimed at anybody who has direct or indirect fleet responsibility, be it a Managing Director, a Fleet Manager, HR Director or Office Manager. This legislation applies to every fleet inthe UK from small employee owned fleets through to company owned fleets.
