RoSPA has announced that under a new pilot scheme, police stopping those driving for work for motoring offences, such as use of a handheld mobile phone, may request evidence from their employers that health and safety legislation relating to ‘Driving at Work’ is being complied with. Improvement notices and fines will be issued where necessary.
