Driving for Better Business goes platinum

RoadSafe’s Driving for Better Business campaign, has won the Platinum Award in the 2010 Fleet Van Awards. The government-backed campaign promotes at-work road safety in the public and private sector.

It is estimated that one third of road deaths and casualties involve at-work drivers. Presenting the Award, Fleet Van editor-in-chief Stephen Briers said, The ‘Driving for Better Business campaign puts fleet safety firmly in the spotlight which is helping to save the lives of van drivers.’

Campaign consultant Mike Parish accepted the award, ‘We are delighted that public and private sector organisations are realising the benefits of managing work-related driving. It saves lives and money, which can mean millions of pounds for large fleets.’

The award was presented on Wednesday 6 October in a ceremony at Simpsons-in-the-Strand, London.
