Managing your grey fleet
Employers have the same duty of care under health and safety law to staff who drive their own vehicles for work as they do to employees who drive company owned, leased or hired vehicles. Such vehicles include:
- Leased or hired vehicles
- Company owned and insured vehicles
- Private vehicles used on Company business
- Hire cars provided for business use
Useful resources to help best practice can be found on the Driving for Better Business resource page.
