RAC publishes new report on driver behaviour
The RAC has published a new report concerning young adults' licence-holding and driving behaviour in the UK.
It is the latest in the RAC's On the Move series of reports on UK travel trends.
Written by Prof.Ann Berrington at the University of Southampton and Julia Mikolai at the University of Liverpool, it examines the individual, household and local area level characteristics associated with driving behaviour in the UK among young adults 17-34.
It uses cross-sectional data from the first two waves of Understanding Society - a survey of around 40,000 UK households. The analysis in the report provides interesting new insights into changes both in the lives of young people and in their driving behaviour.
The full document is available here, and there is a summary report available here.
