29 May 2007

TRL, says it thinks too many van and truck operators know little about the risks and liabilities if one of their vehicles is involved in a crash. The same is true of bodybuilders and people that make or fit van racking systems. So TRL plans a crash safety awareness day at its Crowthorne base on Wednesday 4 July. Visitors will get to watch two live crash tests which “will graphically show the hidden dangers for vans and trucks.” The day is free but by invitation only, so if you’d like to go along’ e-mail conferences@trl.co.uk and quote “Commercial vehicle safety in the subject line.
