Observatory Updated

20 October 2015

The Road Safety Observatory has been updated with the latest casualty statistics.

The Observatory aims to provide easy access to independent road safety research and information for anyone working in road safety and for members of the public. It provides summaries and reviews of research on a wide range of road safety issues, along with links to original road safety research reports and is an essential knowledge source for professionals in our field.

A link to RRCGB 2014, plus an evidence table with the relevant stats from RRCGB 2014, have been included to the research reviews that included stats from the RRCGB report that was current when they were first published.

Each review where these statistics are relevant has now been annotated, "More recent statistics are available in Reported Road Casualties Great Britain 2013 and Reported Road Casualties Great Britain 2014. An evidence table for each of these reports has been added to the Evidence section of the review.”
