PACTS influence global safety strategies
Thailand's Parliament embraces PACTS model of parliamentary engagement in road safety to tackle their road safety challenges.
In October, the Thai Parliament established a Road Safety Working Group and four subcommittees, chaired by Mr. Pichet Chuamuangphan, Deputy Speaker of Parliament. This united effort includes members from across political parties, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to reducing road fatalities in Thailand, where rates remain ten times higher than in the UK.
