The High-level Meeting of the UN General Assembly on improving global road safety in New York 30 Jun - 1 July runs back-to-back with the high-level political forum on sustainable development convened under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council,

It will address gaps and challenges, mobilizing political leadership, promoting multisectoral and multi-stakeholder collaboration in this regard, and assessing the progress made in attaining the objectives of the road safety-related targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development;
