A year of successes influencing the global road safety agenda

22 June 2020

2019/2020  has been an extraordinarily successful year of growth and delivery for the World Bank's Global Road Safety Facility (GRSF), across all its work programmes. Delivery of global road safety solutions has expanded to 78 countries, saving many thousands of lives by improving road safety outcomes through grant funded research, technical assistance, advocacy, knowledge exchange, training and capacity building.

Even with the tragic COVID-19 pandemic and the mix of impacts it has on road safety, GRSF is continuing to work effectively.
