3 November 2015

The forthcoming conference crash.tech will take place on April 19th - 20th, 2016 and its focal point will be ''Integrated Vehicle Safety and Safety Testing''.

Conference topics are to include:

  • Traffic analysis and accident
  • Political and social requirements
  • Test and simulation methods
  • Biomechanics
  • Structural safety and protective systems
  • Future of vehicle safety and methods of validation

Central questions to be addressed are:

  • Where can we identify further potentials for improvement of passive safety systems?
  • How can we perform the necessary testing, measurement and evaluation?
  • What will the future of passive safety be like when these new technologies are implemented?
  • What will be the impact of automated driving on accidents and on the devices of passive safety?

The program committee invites all organizations and authors to present their recent results and developments. Abstracts can submitted by November 9th, 2015 to ute.alius@tuev-sued.de. Please click here to download the detailed call-for-papers or take a look on the conference website. Speakers will receive free registration.

Only an integral approach to systems for accident avoidance and crashworthiness will help achieve the desired goals.
