Fleet Safety a must for Humanitarian Aid Organisations

28 October 2017

In an on-line article Dmitry Sambuk, Managing Director, EASST Academy explains why good fleet management in humanitarian aid organisations is so vital. He points to  the techniques which enable good fleet management to reduce the number of road crashes and highlights that it is therefore just as essential as being vaccinated against common diseases.

Further inspiration and resources are available from The Fleet Forum which aims to reduce the number of road crashes, and the resulting injuries and fatalities, by working to establish a culture of road safety within the humanitarian community.

Fleet Forum inspires better, cleaner, safer and more effective transport around the world. Especially helpful are reports from its annual conference where professionals shared what they know, challenged and inspired one another to go further, collaborated on identifying future solutions and tools, and continued to professionalise its work and demonstrate sector know-how and leadership.

The 2017 conference attracted leaders in their fields from aid and development organisations, the donor community, commercial organisations, academia and the corporate sector.
