TRL is asking Fleet Managers to participate in new research study

18 October 2010

Fleet managers can earn £20 by participating in a telephone interview on electric vehicles, for a research study being undertaken by TRL.

The interviews are expected to last up to 45 minutes and will investigate how different fleets may consider the use of electric vehicles currently, and in the future. Participants will be provided with all the information they need on electric vehicles, so no prior knowledge is required.

These interviews will form part of a larger piece of research for the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI), which aims to investigate (fleet and private) consumers’ attitudes towards plug-in vehicles and the need for supporting infrastructure. The research will consider acceptance of the vehicles, purchase and use, and perceptions towards charging and infrastructure needs, as well as considering potential incentives for car purchase and use.

TRL is keen to engage with fleet managers on these issues to ascertain what factors may drive their purchasing or lease decisions and usage needs.

TRL is currently conducting these interviews. Participants will be asked to undertake a telephone interview of up to 45 minutes and will be paid £20 for taking part. If you are interested in taking part in this trial, please contact Jenny Stannard on 01344 770255 or jstannard@trl.co.uk or Emma Delmonte on 01344 770503 or edelmonte@trl.co.uk.
