Mobile phone ban case study

21 January 2011

The European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) has published its fifth PRAISE Fact Sheet, which complements the PRAISE Report on Minimising In-Vehicle Distractions and features John Klee from the Driving for Better Business Champion, 3M.

3M introduced a ban of mobile phones, including the hands free option, as company policy. This fifth PRAISE case study gives an in-depth explanation of how the policy was introduced, the effects it has had and how it fits into the broader road safety commitments of this global company.

Other PRAISE fact sheets and reports are available here.
