Cycling Safety Conference
An international two-day conference on cycling safety, ICSC2013, will be held at Helmond, The Netherlands, 20–21 November 2013.
This is the sequel to last year’s ICSC2012. The aim of this conference is to be a premium forum for researchers and developers in the field of cycling safety, to exchange their knowledge, to extent their network and to bring up new research topics and safety solutions.
This conference is an initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, TNO, Fietsberaad (Dutch center of expertise on bicycle policy), SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research, and Delft University of Technology.
It aims to promote open sharing of information, the meetings are organized to provide as much interaction between participants as possible. The format is highly informal and fluid, with a single track of presentations and extensive time scheduled for interaction, brainstorming and idea sharing. In addition there will be room for poster presentations.
