Occupational road safety seminar

21 October 2014

The St Andrew’s Seminar will take place at Edinburgh’s Radisson Blu Hotel on Tuesday, November 25th to address the dangers of driving for work.

Health and safety professionals, road safety practitioners and those interested in keeping people safe while driving for work are being invited to the event to find out more about managing occupational road risk(MORR).

Delegates will also get more of an insight into:

  • Driver health checks - mandatory and essential policies to keep the workforce healthy, legal and safe
  • Liability
  • The face of road safety in Scotland - a guide to resources and responsibility
  • SQA Qualification - the benefits of the MORR module to your business.

Sandy Allan, RoSPA’s road safety manager for Scotland, said, “Unfortunately, more employees are killed in at-work road accidents than in all other occupational accidents combined.

“We are inviting anyone who has an interest in occupational road safety to come along to the seminar and take advantage of a tremendous networking opportunity. We will also be answering all their questions on the day."
