The ChooseESC! campaign promotes the technology and was presented at the ITS World Congress and Exhibition in Beijing 11 October 2007 as part of a special session on the progress of the European Commission Intelligent Car Initiative
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel has given her support to the Choose ESC! campaign.
