Older Drivers Website Survey

19 August 2019

Dear Colleague,

The Road Safety Team at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is currently conducting research to evaluate the use of the Older Drivers website  and identify ways in which it can be improved.

The Older Driver’s website was produced and launched in 2016 with the support of the Department for Transport. In 2018, a cost calculator was added along with electronic noticeboard resources that can be used by health and road safety practitioners and displayed in their waiting rooms. It is therefore now time to review the use and content of the website and whether the current advice and information can be improved and if so where and how.

Responses to the survey will be used to determine how to improve the Older Drivers website. A report summarising the results of the survey will be published on www.roadsafetyevaluation.com .

We are therefore asking road safety professionals, older drivers and their families to take part in our survey. The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. We would like to reassure you that all responses are confidential.

The survey can be accessed here.

If you have any questions regarding the survey please do not hesitate to contact Becky Needham via email rneedham@rospa.com or via phone 0121 248 2149.

Thank you in advance for your help with this project.
